Samsung Galaxy phones are known to be breakable (especially the screen). I dropped mine yesterday and didn’t notice anything until this morning :/
I think i’m going to go ahead and get the otterbox defender case and keep it at that small crack. They sell it at cavaraty for 19 LD, but its too bulky :/… Looking for suggestions.

I’ve been always looking for quality bulbs, and thinking that when you branded bulbs such as the ones I purchased, you’d be better off. Apparently the batch that i bought was fully defective!!!! Only 2 out of the 8 bulbs looked fine, one was completely bent inwards and the others got stuck up the bulb slot and wouldn’t unscrew or work (I tried to force them but that didn’t work either)
I bought these from the Fintas Co-op family store, I don’t think I’ll buy anything from them again, everything they have in the store is low quality Chinese knock-offs, they never bring original parts, especially electrical and plumbing parts!
This was straight out of a new box!!!!! GE Seriously???
Bulbs that were stuck, neither working or wanting to come out!
All of these in, only 2 worked (i doubt I can take them out later :/ )
Again, slightly dented, this is what got them stuck in the bulb holders!
Dead bulbs, no use anymore, have to call an electrician tomorrow!
This is just to show you that the bulbs are brand new!
Unfortunately I bought these a while back and I don’t think I’ll be able to return them :/ I’ll try though.

Haven’t you ever wanted to drill those holes in the wall and not have to vacuum afterwords? I was looking around Abyat the other day and bought this:
This cost me around 7 KD, and is quite a cool gadget, its literally a mini vacuum, that sucks away that drill dust into the container. Then clicking a button releases it from the wall.

The downsides are that, you still do get a little dust, especially if you don’t have space under the hole you’re drilling (such as a window frame). But overall its quite a cool gadget you should have in your toolbox. (no more having to clean after drilling).

I used a little bit of Tuff Stuff foam and wiped it clean !
FYI: Tuff Stuff from STP is a great product, you can find it in almost all the supermarket stores in Kuwait, just make sure you get the one with the STP logo, as there are many knock-offs! I use this to clean almost anything, it works great for Car Leather seats (kept mine looking new for quite a while), sports shoes, plastic, leather, carpets, stains, etc. But a great product for almost every stain, i highly recommend it, btw it works great for light leather seats. I found that the best way to use it with leather seats is to spray some on a damp soft sponge, wipe the seats, soak the sponge squeeze and re-apply tuff stuff and re-wipe, then to dry use a MicroFiber cloth – will keep your leather seats looking as good as new!
Its been quite a few days since I have used my computer, lots going on, and i’m constantly out, usually back at home at around 10pm where I would be so exhausted that I wouldn’t even think about using my computer. Same with Whatsapp, Instagram and all my emails. Its been quite a few days of internet Detox, only occasionally using Whatsapp for communication and sending some photos to my contacts.
Its quite a relief however some people will not understand that you need it and would persist on having to contact you even if its on some random un-necessary topic. Hopefully im back after my tech-detox period and you should be expecting some more posts from me on the days to come.

Today i’d like to share with you a couple of very useful apps, especially when it comes to adding photos to instagram (and they aren’t squared photos).
1. The first good app for the iphone/ipad is an app called Sqaready.
Squaready’s baisc features include minimizing the photos and being able to fit them in a square frame.
2. A Similar application to Squaready but for android Handsets (an only has the squaring functionality ) there’s SquareIt:
The downside of squareit however is the fact that you cannot choose the frame size and you’ll always get a white/black/colored frame around you photograph and won’t be able to give it the full square 100%.
Usability wise, they are both nearly the same, Squaready seems a little more complex and carries extra features compared to squarit.

Yesterday we were invited to attend the opening of the New Samsung Store in the Avenues. I was expecting a huge store at first, but come to think about it i think they have nearly everything there!
Sheikh Talal Fahad Al Ahmed AlSabah Was the one who cut the opening ribbon.
They had a laptop section which had all their latest laptop and netbook lines.
A display area for their cool 46″ Smart Hub LED TVs
A beautiful LED TV that would break the bank but would be so worth it hehe
Another angle for the laptops they had on display.
The computer LED monitors were quite an impressive collection.
The prime Jewel, a 75″ LED Smart TV, it’ll only set you back 3650 KD hehe (its kind of on my 2017 wish list )
They Also had a tablet and handset section, but was a little too crowded to photograph.

Overall i’d like to congratulate Samsung AlBabtain Turney Solutions for their new store! At last we can now have the comfort of experiencing everything Samsung in the new store, and getting support from Samsung’s in-store gurus, which i think is something we need. Especially when it comes to picking out a new LED TV, you’d know Samsung have the best to offer but you would want someone to tell you exactly what the differences between the models and prices are!
I came by this video searching for FJ cruisers on YouTube, you gotta love some of the mods that they have on their cars! Its a competition taking place in KSA, where users vote for their favorite rides! I love the idea and I hope they’d implement something close to this in Kuwait!
