PureView Technology, the nokia 808 PureView:

One other point that they discussed was the new PureView technology, Mainly the Nokia 808 PureView, it combines a large, high-resolution 41-megapixel sensor, Carl Zeiss optics and Nokia developed pixel over-sampling technology. This means incredibly sharp, detailed images, superior low light performance and the capability to save images in compact file sizes for sharing in email, MMS and on social networks.

Movie Review : We Bought a Zoo

DudeMovies, Review 1 Comment

Based on a true story, We bought a Zoo depicts the tale of a father who lost his wife and in midst of the chaos he decided to relocate his family by purchasing  anew home which is located within the premises of a Zoo.

Imdb rating : 7.3 (pretty fair, i would give it a 6.5-6.8 rating) Good quality family movie, a movie you can watch with your wife and kids, all of them will enjoy it. I highly recommend it. Whether or not its cinema material, i’d say i’d rather watch it at home due to the movie being a little slow paced, but then again it would be great for a family outing.

Enjoy.

Microsoft Flight – The Flight Simulator for Everyone

You can download the game FREE here

This is another video of the actual gameplay and a mission, i’m still downloading the game now, so i’ll be able to tell you more when I try it! Most comments say its not really a Simulator its more of a game for all the levels, for those who want to do flight simulators but not in very very high detail, but its ok for a free game. You can buy add-on premium content for the game to enrich the experience.

Mothercare Kuwait is Officially ONLINE

DudeEvents, General, Kuwait, Review, Shopping, Sneak Peak 1 Comment

At last! No more having to go to the Avenues only to wait for my wife to shop for the kids and stay forever looking for different items for the kids, she can do all the ordering online, then simply pick up or have it delivered! That has to be one of the best things to have online, after taw9eel hehe.

“To celebrate the official launch of the new web site Mothercare is holding a 10 day grand opening event from March 14th to March 23rd letting customers save 10% when they place their first online order.”

Their website will also have exclusive offers and and updates on new products and a high quality gift wrapping service, which can come in pretty handy especially for last minute gift shopping hehe. Payment on delivery via cash or credit will also be available which increases the convenience of the online shopping environment.

I think one option they need to add is a set a purchase limit by husbands lol j/k hehe

Our Camping Trip to AlSomman

DudeEnvironment, General, Resorts 4 Comments

A couple of guys and I decided to go camping in an Area Called “AlSumman” South of Hafer AlBatin in Saudi Arabia. There’s nearly no mobile phone coverage it was a detox from technology. I’ll leave you with some pics :

We were 4 cars (here’s a group photo)

The following pics show the environment there, nice and green (only specific places were like this and not the whole area)

The area was surrounded by Shepherds and would see sheep walking by during the day.

Chilling in the sun hehe.. no mobile phones, no computers, just good friends talking and eating 😛 lol

Breakfast

Lunch (An experimental Kabsa 😛 turned out yummy in the end hehe)

Coffee, tea by the fire at night

Lunch:

Steak, and Tikka

Some random Shots:

It was raining heavily on our way back to Kuwait, we had to drive through hafer al batin and into Kuwait through the AlSalmi Gateway.
