The Only Password Manager You’ll Need !

In one of our tech-talks a fellow tech geek of mine suggested that I use 1 password for password/serial number archiving. I’ve been using it for more than a month now and i’m more than satisfied and would highly recommend it!

You see many apps store the passwords on a device or web-based, this instead stores an encrypted copy in dropbox, which you can share and access online one all your devices (including PC’s, Macs, Androids and iDevices)!

1 Password is the name and password management is its game!

Scorpion in Living room

The Title Says it all  – Literally!

A couple of days ago a visitor dropped by, there it was  in the living room!  We were so shocked to find it there we didn’t believe it at first!

It was quite small in size around 3-4 cm in length and didn’t give up easy :/ What would you do in an encounter like this, and have you ever experienced something like this in your home ?

Most probably it came  from outside since there’s a small un-used area of land with some trees and old construction debris opposite to our house, but there’s a road, full pavement a huge wall  in between, you wouldn’t think these will just wonder in and around your home. il7emdellah the kids weren’t around!

Solve the problem with your Wifi Coverage at home

I though I had everything sorted in my house when it came to networking, and I was going to use the phone line outlets in the walls to connect Ethernet cables through them. But to my disappointing  my office room in my house doesn’t have a telephone outlet and only has a couple of electricity outlets, and the best place I have coverage in my house is my bedroom which is where my Mada router resides.

I.e. A network cable from the room to the office room was not a solution, WiFi signal was weak and I can’t live on my Zain’s LTE subscription since i’ll finish my allocated bandwidth in a couple of days hehe.

The solution!

It was one Friday morning, woke up early and I had an hour to burn before going to DHL, so I passed by XCite. To my amazement, they had the linksys PLSK400, which is basically a power-line networking device. Simply put, It will let you use your power cables as network outlets! I connected one in the office and the other one in the bedroom and I had Ethernet connectivity!

The Geeky way to fill all your Hela February Coupns

DudeAnnouncements, Funny Things, General 2 Comments

I had so many Hela February Coupns to fill up i didn’t know how to start, when it suddenly came to me. I had a perfectly new samsung Laserjet which I only used like once or twice to print vouchers and I had the good old microsoft word 😀

I managed to create a small word file which you can modify depending on your printer and paper input source, if you have something similar to the s Samsung i’ve got (ML-2165) then you can use the word file without any modification and simply add your details and print away!

NB: Just make sure you have the coupons the right way around, also a word of advice: Sacrifice one coupon and exercise on it until you have perfect results before applying to the others.

These are final samples, total wasted cards = 1.

Here is the Word File for the VoucherI was telling you about 😀
