I’m sure a lot of you were disappointed when they found out that the galaxy note 2 that you bought didn’t support multitasking right away and needed a software upgrade. After researching online for a solution
To Get the MultiTasking update here’s what you have to do:
1. Download and install the Samsung Kies Application (here)
2. Connect your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to the Samsung Kies application
2. It should automatically tell you that there is an update but if not, check for updates. The upgrade will take sometime to download but once it downloads it will automatically update your handset.
*** Your phone has to be connected for the full duration and if you disconnect your phone while the download is being done it will stop the download and you have to start again.***

لتنزيل احدث نسخه على سامسونج جالكسي نوت 2 كل ما عليك فعله هو :
١. تنزيل برنامج السامسونج كييز على الكمبيوتر و توصيل الهاتف إلى الكمبيوتر باستخدام كابل اليو أس بي
٢. بعد التوصيل قم بتشغيل البرنامج وسوف يبحث عن آخر الإصدارات الجديده للهاتف. وستظهر لك تعليمات التحديث للهاتف النقال
طبعا يجب أن يكون الكمبيوتر متصل بشبكة الإنترنت، و والتحديث يحتاج إلى وقت للتنزيل. وافق على الشروط و توكل على الله و حدث الجهاز
ملاحظة: دائما قم بعمل باك اب للهاتف قبل التحديث

or you can go to settings? update> and do an ota update which is faster.

Unfortunately not all phones are able to update Over the Air, and sometimes you get a message saying that the update will roll out in the order that it was requested. I’ve tried on at least 3 Note 2s and I’ve gotten the message saying no update available. Connected them to kies and suprisingly an update was available. Takes a while to download though.
